Ingredients
Scale
- 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray. Ensure your frozen spinach is completely thawed and use a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible. This prevents the dip from becoming watery.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a spatula or hand mixer to blend them together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in the minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well incorporated.
- Add the squeezed-dry spinach, Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese to the cream cheese mixture. Fold everything together gently until the spinach is evenly distributed throughout the cheese base.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining half of the mozzarella cheese over the top. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden brown.
